How many dpms styple 308 guns do you thing are in CGNers hands?

Yeah , maybe like one in ten or something .
They seem to be nice rifles , saw my first one last month at the range guy that had it let me shoot it , was really surprised how little the recoil was for a .308 in a small rifle like that , softer then a norc m14 or what I recall of the old C1's.

I'd say lucky if there's 1/20. Probably 1/50 or worse.. Everybody and their CGN grandmother has at least one AR.. The DPMS 308's are a relatively new product with limited market penetration. With that being said, I'd like to own one but I don't see it happening due to some personal priorities.
Well only counting DPMS AR 15's to DPMS AR 10's probably 1/10. However if you consider that if only the DPMS brand of AR 10 is counted and not any other .308 AR's then it is probably 1/50 or greater as TRaTSeRiF has stated and possibly 1/100+. Even if every brand of .308 AR was considered compared to all other AR 15's it still may be 1/50 due to the higher costs of the AR 10's as there is no availability of cheap AR 10's like there is for the AR 15.
If you compared all .223 AR's with a value over $1,500+ to all .308 AR's then perhaps it may only be 1/20, but that's counting all brands of AR 10's not just DPMS.
Of course this is all just a guesstimate on my part, w/o any accurate info. to back it up.

Since you can't hunt with them, most people find the extra cost ammo wise to do the same job pointless. I have 2 Armalite Ar10's myself and they don't get near the trigger time my ar15's do. I have begun using the norc .308 ammo in my carbine, but won't be using it in my match chambered gun
