Hey All,
I just recently started built up my collection from meagre to respectable and I wondered what what the average was. Also feel free comment on : must have's, bad firearms, and awesome collections. I posted this in pistol because that's only thing I really shoot but please post about rifles, shotguns, milsurp etc.

there was another thread like this one started a few days ago i think... 2 people selected "more than 100"... i seriously want to know who they are and how they make that kind of money to own that many firearms!!!

i can just imagine what his safe "room" looks like lol

Voted 25+ but the poll stops too low, I know that at last count my collection was over 60 firearms (plus I've added to that) and there are others with way more than me.
 
CAMP COOK,
I am a 'newbie', and being one of the youngest members at my club as well as my it being located two hours away( I refuse to pay the membership costs in Toronto), my interaction with fellow members is few and far between. I therefore go to candiangunnutz with questions and concerns

Why do newbs ask these questions? Isn’t that what this forum is for? To answer questions and discuss things relative to our hobby?

As for what I wanted out of this was : I wanted to get a sense of what a ‘real ‘collection was, as my initial post says; if there was some must ‘have’s ’ for a collection, and to avoid potential bad buys. I actually didn’t expect people to have collections much larger then 15, shows what I know. I guess it is a good thing I did make this post.

I imagine that non newbs do not post things like these because they have already been a newb and found the information out,

My question is for large collections are there any additional laws or regulations for the collections?

I see you're new so you havent yet discovered the search button but all the info is here, but the answer is no, you can have as much as you want, as long as you can legally store them
