How many guns can you carry

Here in BC I carry my main hunting weapon (rifle or bow) for the primary targeted species, but usually have a backup rifle along in the event I need it for any reason. My main backup rifle is my pre-81 BLR in 358 Win. I also like it for close cover/thick bush hunting if I come across my primary targeted species in other than wide open terrain, and my bolt action is no longer the best choice (this occurs frequently in the areas where I hunt).
There are many days afield where my primary rifle is a lever action, like bear hunting, or when I know that I will be predominantly hunting in thick brushy country for elk or moose.
I also usually have a 22 and/or the 28 ga along for grouse and/or snowshoe hares.
