Same issue happened with me and my motorcycle riding. I haven't ridden much for the last 4 years. Early this year, I decided to allocate time to it, no matter what. I told the spouse that I would be riding on certain days (weather permitting) and nothing was to interfere. Nothing. Well, lo and behold, my interest came back. I wasn't worrying about stuff to do around the house, work, kids, and so on. Having competing elements on my time made riding a chore to 'get done', and it sucked the life from it. Now, when I am on the bike, I was enjoying myself again
I suggest you block sufficient time and let everyone know that you're going to do it. Everyone and everything else, GTFO! It may come across as harsh but you have to be able make time to do the things you enjoy. You'll be a better spouse and father, as you will be happier. It's a win-win.
