Been hunting at least 20 yrs now, and I would guess I am in the 1-20 bracket. Not as lucky as you guy out West as we can only take one deer per year here, except for one time that I remember many years ago, and actually last year where I won the lotto to shoot a male and a female. I was lucky and got a buck and one of the does that was with him. Have also missed one that was on the run, and have been lucky so far not to wound and loose any.

Started hunting big game in 1957 (Geez, I'm getting to be an old ba*****!!):D I've been an unusually "lucky" hunter over the years, and have also been privileged to hunt BC, Alta and Sask in some years. My count is substantial, and thankfully, unrecovered animals are few, but still feel bad about the one that was never found. But regardless, I have enjoyed the hunting, (and the meat) a lot. Deer are well into 3 figures, and moose and elk together make more than 80. Black bears....culled them for awhile in a high population area, so lost count, but that was not really hunting anyway. Shot caribou in the far North, Bison around Pink Mountain, and Sheep & Goat in the Kootenays.
My Freezers are full again this year, so my family is eating well yet another year. I do love this country for it's rich resources and the wonderful opportunity for enjoying the outdoors in so many ways. Regards, Eagleye
