How many of you hunt with bigbores, say 375 and over?I just enjoy shooting them and hunting with them, not that smaller bores dont work well.I don't want to start a bigbore verse small bore debate. just urious how many of you hunt with bigbores, for deer, moose or whatever else.

I do quite a bit of hunting with my 404 Jeffery and used a 375 H&H on Moose , Deer, Pronghorn Antelope not to mention the occasional Coyote.
My second and newest 375 Ruger hasn't been "blooded" yet, but we'll see what this Fall brings. :)

I use to do a fair bit of hunting with a cusstom 416 taylor, but have also carried and used the 450ackley,458win and 460wby as well as most of the 375's. Most of the BB's actually shoot quite flat when loaded with spitzer.Even the 458 win loaded with a 350gr X at 2500 or a bit more is flat out to 250-275yds

Yes, with a .375 H&H Sako 85 SS. The smallest animal shot with it is a beaver and the largest a moose. Have three scopes for it a Leupold VX-II 1-4 #4, Zeiss conquest 2,5-8x32 #20 (don´t like this reticle, I am a #4 guy) and for longer distances and low light a Zeiss Victory Diavari 3-12x56 T* # 4.

My "to go", "kill it all" big bore hunting rifle rifle is Win mod 88 in 358Win in laminate Boyds stock and trust me nothing got away from her when hit with 225gr NP within 300yds radius and that's including couple of moose and elk.

I have used two different 416 Rigby's and a 375 and 460 to shoot game. Beaver to moose. They all died. I have a 416 Ruger and 510Wells to blood this fall.

I love my medium bores...9.3x62 and 416 Rigby. Haven't killed anything with my big bores, 458 Win and 470 NE but did shoot my first ever Mulie with one of my 45-70s. Guess you could say I like my girls on the big side!

I think the .375 as a medium, but have shot quite a bit with it. Things from steinbuck to giraffe weightwise, it works about as good for deer and elk sized animals as anything could. Bigger stuff included giraffe, eland and 3 buffalo. It's very useable for anything that a 30-06 trajectory will handle.
I used the .416 Rigby on buffalo, couple elephants, wildebeast, 2 impala with one shot and things like that. I'm teetering on the verge of wondering if it's worth it over the .375. I wanted it to kill better, but I'm not seeing it. Quite the opposite in fact.
I've got a .458 that I'm takeing to Australia in July, for a bit of a buffalo hunting and culling.

510 Wells, now thats what I call a BIG bore !
My Brother in the Yukon has one along with a 505 Gibbs and a 500 Jeffery.
Hopefully I will get a chance to shoot them someday.... if only once ! :)

Not sure if it meets your definition but I do almost all my hunting with my muzzle loader now and I use 400 grain .50 cal cast bullets. They make a real big hole.

Yes they do. I think they are taking about brass cased monsters though (where the shooter doesn't fair much better than the critt'r they shot at!)

I do most of my big game hunting with .44, .45, and .50 cal. rifles and "heavy for caliber" bullets, and mostly Marlin or Sharps rifles.

Just having my new M70 458 bedded in a new Mcmillan synthetic and barrel shortened to 21", will hopefully chase some black bears and maybe a Grizz this spring with this one.
