I wish I was a morning person. I know that the problem is that I just don't go to bed early enough. I can usually get up early without an alarm for a "special" day like hunting.

I just can't figure out you 4am - 5am riser people . . . are you asleep by 9pm or what?

Stay up till about two, drinkin and sittin around the fire(make sure you keep everyone up with you). Go to bed, snore your ass off and keep everyone else awake from the noise. Get up for the morning hunt ready to go after breakfast while everyone else #####es and whines about how tired they are cause they got no sleep.

The best way to have the upper edge on the rest of the boys :dancingbanana:

f**k em if they cant take a joke :D

Nope, I can stay up till 1 or 2am and still be up before the alarm. But usually in bed just before 11 on work nights.:p

Start work 5-6 days a week at 5:40am, after a 35-40 minute commute! Conditioned too wake up early. 9 times out of 10, asleep by 9:30. Unless there is a good hockey or football game on the tv.

I got up at about 6AM this morning, woke the gal up, and was back snoozing at 7:20.:D

(heck, it's Sunday, nice day to sleep in)

Climbed out of bed at about 9, mucked around here and now it's off to work on my truck. No hunting for this boy until the truck is done...:dancingbanana:

Might be no need to get up early, but it's nice , peaceful , quiet, I love it!

I'm on that plan :)

I like to be out before it's light, and watch the woods wake up. I see a lot of game too, and given a choice i'd rather have the rest of the day to gut, drag and dress rather than be doing it at nightfall.

I get up at 05:15 as a rule, my alarm is set on that 24/7.
HOWEVER, if I want to get a little hunting/fishhinmg/range time in before work, I'm up at 04:00, and gonzo!
The boat is hooked and ready to go 24/7, so all I have to do is grab the rifle and I'm off.
I see deer at all hours of the day on the river, but evening seems to be best.

Quite honestly, I have a terrible combination of the two. I'm a night owl and a morning person, meaning for hunting I go to bed at 12am and wake up at 5am, while on normal days I go to bed at 1am and wake up at 7am.

I work night's through the week and love watching the sun come up, when it's not raining. Come hunting season I'll watch the sun come up from a tree stump or a trail when given the chance.

Don't mind it a bit. Fall comes but once a year. I wouldn't want to miss out on a great hunt. I'm so damned ugly anyway! Surgery might help. An extra hour or two of beauty sleep sure as hell won't do anything! LOL.

Dave.
