Lefty, used right bolts years ago but a Rem 700 lefty cured that. Sold it however and bought and carried traditional levers and a BLR. Settled quickly on a 444 Marlin in the 70's. Also a 10-22 but who didn't try one at least. As age and health issues advanced I gravitated to range rifles and woods loafing for short distances. Win 94, Win 92, Handi Hornet, and 9422 and air rifles. Joined the bolt club again after decades with a CZ 527 American 223 lefty, very pleased with the little Mauser action and rifle as a whole.
I dislike monte carlo stocks and own none. My prized air rifle, HW35E, has a pronounced right cheekpiece that doesn't affect shooting, still hate the look. The American stock design is my idea of a modern rifle stock that is ambidextrous. For iron sights and medium recoil nothing beats my Alberta Assault rifle, 50's M94 in 32 Special with a Lyman receiver sight.
