How many Mags did your nork pistols come with?

Point is Marstar supplies one mag with all or most of their pistols, some other dealers supply with 2 mags.

Point is Marstar states in their adverts that they supply only one mag.

Point is Marstar provides a great warranty, while that "other dealer in Vancouver" gives SFA as a warranty. In fact, and I know for a fact that Marstar even warranted a pistol (not mine) bought from that "other dealer in Vancouver" and made good on that customer's errr i mean non-customers pistol.

Point is Marstar's responses are usually grating, annoying, abrasive and condescending, but that has never stopped me form pouring money into Marstar's pocket.

Ok John, let me have it.

PS That "other dealer in Vancouver" is Lever, if anyone hasn't figured it out yet, and I will never buy from them based on their response to the individual who had a NEW defective pistol.

Moral of the story: do your homework.

Yes the boxes have been opened;
2) Since we garantee ALL new firearms leaving our warehouse, don't you think we should verify the functioning of each pistol ?John

Thanks for clearing things up John!
Just curious, How exactly do you verify function?

as far as the warranty was concerned, i knew what it was going in from that "other fella", but i happen to know enough about both guns to fix just about anything that went wrong-unless the frame was bent or the barrel screwed- same deal went for my m14s,as i was issued the real thing- the only thing that ticked me off was the scope mount hole was ground off, but i should doubt that anybody would have done anything as it was the factory's doing- like hacking off the bayonet lug-this was way back when- remember, both the tok and the woodsman are copies of very popular designs, ( the woodsman is the 1915 model) and if i needed parts, i could get them from "that other fella" down south- the event has NEVER happened- so i never needed the warranty

THOR;
your comment "Certain dealers, in order to keep their prices down, will pilfer one of the mags and then sell the gun with only one mag for a slightly lower price."

I resent the statement, I won't even bother trying to explain once again....

If you think that we have to pilfer from our stock, you are sick man....

We are the largest single export buyer Norinco has and as such we have been able to maintain some of the best prices with THE BEST WARRANTEE policy available anywhere....

I expect you to fully support your statement, here, with the documentation you used to arrive at this conclusion
John

Question for you:

I bought some M77B mags from you, all were serial numbered, some preceded with a 1 or a 2 as serial numbered to the pistol. Spare mags purchased from Lever Arms were non-serial numbered. Why are your spare mags serial numbered if they are actually spare magazines? Seems kind of redundant to serial number spare mags...

I 100% agree with this. I haven't purchase anything from Marstar but I do know the fact that they CLEARLY mentioned " one mag " in the web site. If you don't feel comfortable, then don't buy.

LIGHT INFANTRY;
I wish you had written this yesterday, it would have been easier on my aging typing hands....
I could not have said it better, THANK YOU
John

DECKARD;
Please keep an eye on our "new arrival" section, from now on we will advise as every shipment arrives in Canada as well as chnaging the status on the site....
Next shipment of M-14s: Container arrives in port Tuesday.
Next shipment of handguns; ETA Montreal in about 3 weeks. Many new models

CAN-DOWN;
Each pistol is examined for any obvious flaws or damage....

Each pistol is cycled to make certain "all is well" . to insure hold open functions, decocker functions (on those models that have one), etc....

In short we verify as much as we can without firing them.

DAR-701;
We purchase by lots from Norinco, when they advise us they have so many thousand "mixed" mags in their warehouse, we negotiate a deal and buy them.... Remember that Norinco seldom has excess inventory of mags, so we buy them whenever the opportunity presents itself....

Without checking I think we bought more than 8 thousand additional mags last year alone....

Over the years we have received numbered mags for the Tokarev, the 1911a1
the SIGs, the CZs, the M-14s, the many JW-series of rifles, just to name a few.... Some even had dealer names on them....

Thanks. You know what would be a nice addition to your website? A wish list. A form that you would click on model you would likely buy. It would help you measure interest. But maybe you already measure that by views. For instance, I've clicked on that 1911 page probably 10 times a month for years looking for this model, or that.

DECKARD;
Very interesting idea, I will consult our webmaster at the office tomorrow....

Thank you for the positive input
John

I'm betting a 1911 in .40, just to give Dark International some competition...the Norinco Sport website from China hasn't been updated in ages, so not many clues there...

I'm hoping for the 1911 Police Enhanced Model
