How many of you guys love your .303's?

All my other toys are tres tactical, but I've got 2 no. 5's and I love 'em. Solid, elegant design, great sights, nice wood- whats not to like? Oh, I know, as I've said before, the jungle version kicks like an angry ninja in steel-toed boots. Still love it, it's just an abusive relationship.

|The Ross, Lee Enfields and P-14's are all excellent rifles and the .303 is really no slouch of a bullet, its main problem is that it was not designed in the "good old USA" and therefore does'nt get a lot of press. Most of them with a decent barrel shoot very well and when in military service in Canada using Dominion 174 gr military ammo did some pretty impressive long range shooting on Canadian military ranges, the No.5 or "jungle carbine" has a bit of an accuracy problem but the rest are usually very good, however, I have had little luck with the 150 gr bullet, the Hornady 174 and Rem. 180 both work very well and the round will stop most anything in North America, it is truly a classic in its full military configuration.
