How many of you own multiple ar-15?

Mine are pretty simple, all 5.56:

CC SA15.7 C8 clone with a TA11, good all-around setup
CCI UR15.7 with a TA11, another good all-around setup, and REALLY accurate
CC IUR15.7, spare rifle, no optic. May sell it.
CC MRR 11.5" with a SpecterDR, for close-medium range
CC SA20 20" C7A1 clone with an Elcan OS4, mostly for nostalgia purposes
HK MR556 10.5" with a Shield red dot, for the really close range stuff. My answer to the Mk18.

Oh, and I still have my ex's Bushmaster/PSA 7" keymod 7.62x39 in my safe.... have to transfer that to her one of these years!!

My shooting is all within 200 yards, usually within 100. All work well for this kind of shooting.

I'm down to two. I have my 9mm and my 16 inch build left, sold the rest.
Not long ago I was up to two AR-10's, four AR-15 lowers and 6 uppers spread between 9mm, 223, 22LR, and 300BLK.
Things are much simpler now but I do miss them.
 
My goal is to have one dedicated lower receiver for a few different uppers. My lower is finally set up the way I like it, and it's expensive to have everything be fully ambidextrous on one lower, never mind multiple ones.

I currently have an MK18 upper that serves all my needs, and I run an Aimpoint H1. Eventually if I get into other styles of shooting like 3 gun, i'll opt for a lightweight upper in 16" or longer with an optic with some magnification.

200 yards or less steel plates. running around a lots of Pew Pew. 15.7 Barrels since they are the cats meow.

As far as optics go Ive moved on from Eotech and got Aimpoints instead.

I keep telling myself that I need to get an Elcan Specter DR.
 
Currently at 4 which I think I'll be at for awhile. With the ones I have, they pretty much cover all areas of the platform.

10.3" DD barrel built on spikes tactical receivers, with an original bcm KMR 10, wears an aimpoint comp ml3. Mainly for shooting CQB under but not limited to 100m

(soon to be if I can ever find a damn barrel) 14.5" built on noveske receivers, with a geissele smr MK8 13", wears an Elcan specter dr in FDE. Will be my new go to rifle for all types of shooting, up to 300m and beyond if I can find a longer range.

16" bcm barrel built on bcm receivers, with a bcm kmr a 15", wears a nightforce nxs 1-4 in an adm mount. This is my games gun/backup rifle/USA gun. Built it under the recce idea of rifles, great at 300m, and not bad past that.

18" rainier Arms ultra match barrel built on colt USA receivers, with an old school DD M4 rail, wearing a vortex PST 2.5-10 with Knights Armament offset irons. Built this as a very loose clone mk12 (after realizing I don't like clone builds) as my Precision auto. With the right loads it'll group well, am hoping to take it on a hog hunt south of the border one of these days.

All rifles have surefire white lights. Maybe one day I'll jump on night optics.

Theres another 10.5 hiding in that picture but that's a lightweight build I did for a friend of mine.

All lowers are relativey the the exact same specs, B5 sopmod stocks (except the 18 rocks an A2), ALG ACT, geissele SDE & super Tricon triggers, KAC ambi safeties on all, and nothing but BFG vcas slings to hold em all up.
 
I once thought that I'd buy one full rifle and just have a bunch of different uppers. That worked well until I was up to my 3rd upper when I thought redundant lowers might not be a bad idea. The different stock combos came into play now 4 full rifles and an extra upper later... :p

Got me:

DD M4V5 16.5" barrel with Bushnell 1-4x
Noveske gen2 lower with Vltor upper with 12.5" barrel with Aimpoint Pro
Rainier Arms matched upper/lower with fixed PRS stock, DD 18" S2W barrel with Bushnell AR 4-16x
Spikes lower/LMT M4 upper with carry handle with iron sights
DD upper with DD 10.5" 300BLK

And I've got a striped KAC lower on order from OST. Well, I did have a spare trigger laying around, figured I might as well put it to good use. lol

Only own one, a DPMS Oracle that I got out of the U.S. back when exchange was good and IRG was giving them away. Never really had a desire for or a place to shoot an AR (my range is pistol only). I bought it just to be another statistic to piss the anti's off, it has never been shot.
 
I currently have 2 complete rifles and parts, completes are a NEA 10.5 and a CC SA15.7. My parts bin is getting a little out of control with a CC lower and two uppers to be built. I stripped a CC MRR 11.5 for the barrel, and have a DD 11.5 with KAC URX ii. As soon as I find the CC upper receiver from an SA and DD gas block and tube they will both be reassembled. I can't get enough AR's, they are my favorite platform to shoot.
