Just curious as to how many Canadians are shooting .357 Sig.

I've noticed lately that there seems to be a much larger selection of .357 Sig ammo kicking around at local gun stores, so I'm thinking (hoping) that it is catching on. IMO, it's a pretty bad ass cartridge and the more demand there is for it, the better.

I love shooting .357SIG - its just hard to get ammo for it though. I think its a great round and often wonder why its not more popular.

I also wonder the same thing. A really nicely balanced cartridge. It has everything to be a great LE cartridge but doesn't seem to catch on...

...I found 4 boxes of ammo at a local store that had been sitting on their shelves for years (I was just as happy to find some as they were to get rid of them!) and I've been reloading the shells ever since.

i own a 357sig barrel for my glock22.

it is bad-ass. flat shooting and hard-hitting. i don't shoot a whole lot of 357sig due to cost, but i have shot about 1200 rounds of it in the last 3 years. there is NO WAY that i'll ever part with it, it's too much fun and you can't argue with the numbers.

i think if you own a .40 and you can get a 357sig drop in barrel for your particular gun, then you should do it.

I thought about it... but it's so similar to a hot 9mm that to me isn't worth the hassle of setting up to relaod another caliber. Esp when there are others I'd rather have.

Can someone post some ballistics ie 9mm nato loads or 9mm +p+ vs .357 sig

There's something to be said about an 80 grain 9mm bullet traveling at over 1800FPS!

.357 Sig
