How many people have a M94 Swedish Mauser Carbine with 17" barrel?

Nice M94/14!

Mine is also all matching but unfired and part of a extremely rare and one of a kind (no other matching sets known in existence), 1930 made Swedish Military weapons inspectors (Mattias Björlin) rifle set (M96 and M94/14).

Absolutely beautiful piece .. :)

Thanks for posting the pics...

I was out on a Panther rig near Weyburn Sask this spring when an older driller pulled one out of his locker in the doghouse, lol. In Sask that sorta thing is perfectly cool actually( Yeah; you, HR lady take a hike, eh:rolleyes:).
Sadly it was converted to .308 and was a bit worse for wear. But I was gobsmacked as the English would say.
I said "Even converted and well used, this is a beautiful carbine. Don't touch it other than clean and oil, whatever you do!"
A very nice piece; even in poor cond it's pedigree still showed.

I have a M94 with matching bolt. Unfortunately Bubba decided it would be better with less wood and no nose piece.

I hope to desporterize it if I can round up all of the parts. But for now it has a no drill mount in place of the rear sight with a Leupold 2.5 scout scope.

Sure makes for a super handy wolf/deer/bear etc. gun.

Unfortunately it seems more of these really nice handy little carbines got made into sporters than ones that were left all original, this is why so few remain un-altered now.

Not a 94, but there was a small batch of Carbines turned out in 1943, with slightly-differing stocking.

I was told that 100 were done for the Swedish equivalent of the Horse Guards.

How much truth there is to that, I have no way of knowing.

I do know that I have seen and held and fired one of them. It is in a collection a few miles from here.

Noisy little brute!
