Hey Guy's,

this is just an Info for myself . How many Questions are in the written non-/restricted test again ? I thought it was 100 each and you had to have 90% in both to pass . Right?

I think it was 50 questions (non-restricted), and you need 80% to pass...can't remember exactly as I took my test back in February.

That said, it's super easy...so you should score close to 100% unless you make a mistake.

it's 50 questions for both restricted and non restricted. i believe it was about 20-25 true and false and the rest multiple choice questions. as well about half were the exact same questions for both restricted and non restricted tests.

you need 80% for everything (written tests as well as practical)

it was pretty easy, i thought i was going to pass with maybe a 85% or so but ended up with a 98% on both tests.

Know your ammo section because there are more questions from it than any other section.
I teach hunter ed and firearms courses for the past 15 years. The one that seems to gets people on the test is "closed sight". The course is set up for people that don't have any experience with firearms.

All above is good info., But there are several tests they choose from to give.
Fifty questions, but the tests are not all the same.
Read all the questions first then go back and answer them would be my advice.
Good Luck,
Rob
