How many red rifles do you own?

5 SKs - went a little crazy when I first got my PAL. That and I loved to clean out the cosmoline. Gonna be thinning the herd in a bit.

The great thing about red rifles, especially the SKS and Mosin, is that if you are careful with your cash, you can have a nice collection of say 15-ish rifles and still have spent less than it costs to but a long range setup, even a cheap one. Savage .338 lm and a med priced sightron scope plus bits and pieces would be $3500-$4000. So you can get into collecting military rifles for very little comparably speaking! Plus they are lots of fun to shoot!

They are so inexpensive, you dont even have to be carefull... 200.00 need to be muliply by 10 to add up to 2K wich would be the entry price for a top shelve rifle... JP.

Bought 1 SKS just before the hype of price increase. All matching except stock and electropenned gas tube. Shoots well. 5 round group was a horizontal line about 4 inches long with open sights at 100m. Going to see if the groups can do better.

2 sks's a 50 and 51 tulas, a 1927 izzy 91/30 and a 1941 tula svt-40 and hope to find some others at a decent price before the ugly UN marking comes in
