How Many Restricted Firearms Can I Own in Canada?

I had 4 transfers for ARs occur at the same time, prizes for a shoot.

I got a call from the CFC demanding I justify the transfers before they'd let them go through.
 
If op is in a position to even ask that question he is a very fortunate man. How many restricteds? How high is the sky?

I've found that the plastic sleeves that are sold for sports card collections work well for the CFC paper bits. They fit in binders. Rather than look for the individual regi, I just carry the binder.
 
99,999. At 100,000 restricted (especially handguns), many Liberal brains suddenly explode, and the powers that be are very worried about those tiny, tiny Liberal brains.

Seriously, I know folks with hundreds of restricteds, and a couple with several hundred prohibiteds, and they haven't had any issues due to the number. Rather, they have the same hassle that anyone with an RPAL has. Remember that duck hunters with double barrel shotguns are supposedly ok (for now), but nobody NEEDS to own a pistol or an "assault weapon." Plus, it is terrible how those nasty assault weapons sneak out of safes at night and go on baby-killing rampages all over town.

So, if you have an RPAL, you can "own" as many restricted firearms as you want, until Justine and the Queen's Cowboys change something and require you to turn them in for destruction.

were they demanding that you justify the transfers or were they just confirming them?

I've had them call me to confirm a transfer wasn't a mistake when I bought two consecutive serial number handguns. they just confirmed the details and that I had bought two and that it wasn't a mistake by the store and then they were happy.

Which raises the separate question of whether we still need to carry the ATTs anymore or not. I mean, I do but do I need to?

The whole regs thing pisses me off so much that I find I'm unable to follow them like I do some other issues.
 
Cant touch Ganderite pile but here is my activity in restricteds since jan 2014, some have left but by the end of the year, it should be back at it... JP.

And my nieces were alarmed when they found out I had more than twenty in TOTAL (NR & R). Like Puff the Magic Dragon I will sadly slip into my cave. Can't compete in this league!

They wanted me to justify why these transfers should be permitted.

Apparently 4 transfers at once sets them off.
