well,I'm trying to think...
*Husqvarna rolling block-shoots shorts,love it,really old,but a good bore
*couple of old bolt action mossbergs, one peep sight, the other scoped
*Marlin 795-just restocked it with a Boyds laminate thumbhole, love it except for the trigger
*Norinco .22 magnum-shoots great,finish not so great,got a bushnell compact 22 scope on it
*CIL .22,my dad bought it for me about 40 years ago
*BRNO .22-very accurate
*Cooey ranger,tube mag
*Cooey single shot

yup-9.I''need'' a savage 22mk2 with an accutrigger and a laminate thumbhole stock-factory or aftermarket Boyds.-I ''need'' a pump .22-never had one-something like my dad told me he had on the farm and shot woodchucks-that would be in the 1920's.Not sure what make or model to look for

Remington 597, that's it, it works perfectly and is very accurate and semi automatic, i have 30 round magazines for fun and smaller 10 round for when i go hunting with it and target practice. It's one hell of a gun and I love it, no reason for me to buy another .22lr, this is perfect!

Went from 3 to none, to one, to 4, to one then the 17s came out went to 4, then my son grew up enough to warrant one and Remington recalled the 597 17 HMR so ended up with a CZ Scout and a 597 in 22 when I thought I would never have another 22 other than my granddads "Ranger" which I don't shoot
Well that didn't work because they breed like rabbits and now I have over a dozen 22s, and 4 17s.
How the he'll does that happen? I'm thinking of asking to have my EE privileges revoked.

I should have set the first one as [1-2],instead of [1]but be that as it may-the vast majority of us [69%] have between 3 and 10.

Wilkepedia says annual production of .22 shells is between 2 and 2.5 BILLION rounds

2 10/22s, a nylon 66, beretta 948, neos, and an m93 norinco, add to that a cooey 62 that my dad left

if the Liberals/NDP get their way we will only be allowed to keep 6 FIREARMS-including your 22's, shotguns and rifles.

Don't say it ''can't happen here''-where do you think TRADEEX gets all their guns from?

At one time I had more than 10, but have sold a few to free up some safe space.

Since .22 rifles will generally last a few hundred thousand shots, I really don't need many. My plan is to eventually trim my .22 rifle family down to 3 or 4, as my grandson grows older and takes over ownership.

Rimfire quantity is a very fluid thing....silly question. :) 4 and counting, one more planned for sure...my eye on a couple others.

Currently SEVEN. 1x17hmr 2x22mag 4x22 (2xsemi 2xbolt)

will add these to collection in the future.

a semi 22 mag
a 17m2
a lever action
a pump action
I also want a couple of pimped out, tactical, rugers builds too, so I could see at least 6-8 more rimfires in the collection over the years.

I have sold a few.

I also want one really nice high end rimfire but my wife thinks it is a waste because Id never use it. She thinks I would be scared to take it out of the house... for fear of damage to it. She might be right. but Im ok with bench shooting only and looking at the beautiful wood!

the great thing about .22s,is there is one for every budget and wish, from the old rolling blocks[which I love] to the most modern ''black''rifles[which I don't]They come in any action, any configuration and any colour.Plus the;re cheap to shoot, and don't punish your shoulder.
$50 to $100 and a brick of shells for $15 to $20 puts you in business-and in this day and age of expensive sports-thats about as cost effective as you can get...course-theres the next one and the one after that-warning-collecting and shooting .22s can be addictive!
