How many rounds of 2 3/4 can u fit in your versa max tactical?

Looking at getting one of these but was wondering how many rounds u guys are fitting into these?

Since the Tactical is only marked as a 3" gun you can only put 6 in the tube (5x3"shells) 1in the chamber and 4 ghost loaded.

Now is it based on what is stamped barrel? Or what it's chambered for?

8+1 in the USA. Probably (6) 2-3/4 when blocked to (5) 3" for us. There is a thread about this shotgun.

the 3" chamber gives me 6 in the pipe, 1 ghost and 1 in the chamber for 8 rounds of 2-3/4 which is max (with the 3.5" chamber you can get 7 - 2.3/4 (rnds)

Ya can't get states limits here, but I was wondering if the rule is for what's marked on the barrel or what the chamber is made for ?

Should be the same. If the barrel is marked 3" the chamber is 3".

Not on the versamax, it's chamber is 3 1/2" they only put 3" on the barrel because of the extended mag tube. They found if fully filled with 3 1/2" shells under recoil it would sometimes deform one causing malfunctions.

I believe that the tactical will get caught with what is marked on the barrel. Buy the sportsman version and throw a Nordic extension on it if you really need the extra round..

Well if I can't take advantage of the extra of the camber a benelli m2 might be better.

Benelli SBE2 has a 3.5" stamp on it..... what if it was fitted for 5.9 x 3.5" shells in the tube...

Well that's what i was wondering with the tactical versa max, but having a extra long 22" barrel with a extra long ext mag tube makes no sense.

I just bought the vera max and you can get, 6rnds of 2-3/4 in the tub, 1 in the chamber and 1 ghost load for a total of 8rnds of 2-3/4

the bonus is if you want to shoot in the usa that goes up to 10 of 2-2/3 in the tub 1 ghost load and 1 in the chamber for a total of 12rnds
