How many rounds per session

I have never heard of a match where you would only fire 42 rounds. Just shot a match Sunday in Clarence Creek, CRPS , that had ten stations with ten rounds in most and two with 19 and 20 and a sudden death with 15. You need to talk to Rick Katigbak for a course of fire so you can warm up that barrel pal!

Usually give or take 1000 . I bring multiple firearms in multiple calibers and usually end up going with buddies who are cheap and only bring a lil bit of ammo so we always end up shooting my stuff . Also I never bring ammo back home and I always have fears of not bringing enough so 1000 ish on average

The Outlaw series shoot are 5 stations of max ten rounds each. Max time is 2mins per station and the July shoot included a stage where 5 rounds were loose in a bucket and required you to reload your mag, needless to say I dint get all ten rounds off on that stage. On another stage we had to shoot from gap in the tree milk crate, again once I got to shooting from below, I could not get a position that allowed me to see the target so lost a lot of time and ran out of time before my ten rounds. Total rounds fired was 42.

All depends on the objective for the range that day, I never go to the range with no plan not into wasting rounds. Just my.02

Shot my crazy Jard J68 at an indoor range the other day, shot 250rds. After that I had a couple bolts to tighten up and had inhaled enough smoke to call it a day. Gun ran pretty good for a break in session, didn’t have high hopes after reading reviews etc., but it had 2 FtF in the first 50 and after that it was still running strong when I shut it down. Being a bullpup, blowback operated system the gas builds up as you shoot and eventually makes a big cloud all around your face, but honestly I like the weird thing. Even after the buttplate came loose it still kept on going, had some pretty promising groups for a 9mm at 50yds with a cheap red dot on it (and astigmatism).

Between 50 and 500. Really depends what I’m shooting, the weather, time restraints, sighting in or just messing around, alone or with friends. Too many variables. 1000 was my record, 8 hours at range with buddies on my bday. What more could a guy ask for

Usually shoot manual actions using single shot adapters. Figure 50 per hour or so. Stay at the range 2-3 hours usually, so figure 100-150. If I use semi's more often I can see how that can ramp up your round count.

At what range/club was the match in Clarence Creek?

The CRPS shoot was held on private land that was awesome and very well done with safety as the number one priority! Everyone had a great time and lots of fun. Hopefully have another shoot there some day!
