Just wondering what you guys would say that the maximun amount of rounds that you can put through your CZ 858 before the barrel heats up so much that it loses all accuracy?

Can you go to the range and shoot off 100 rounds in a row and maintain decent accuracy? OR would it be more like 30-40 rounds?

My last SKS would lose its accuracy pretty quickly once it heated up after 30-40 rounds.

The manual that comes with your cz858-2 claims 40 rounds per minute is what it is built for.With four mags and reloads you will never get there.5 per mag then reload your mags or go to stripper clips.This is only true if you do not have a boat load of mags.With the nea quick bolt release it does not take long to reload.So if there is someone out there that has lots of mags and a nea bolt release your job should you choose to accept it is to find out how many rounds you can do in a minute.

This about sums it up for you.

Yes i know it's not the same barrel, my point is they are a nice gun. They can handle some abuse.
Fixed it for ya.
Also the press "barf" wood was made for the military use's so I am pretty sure our semi-auto 5 round mag limit's would never get hot enough to cause any issues to this wood although you will see black stuck on the inside but it's carbon residue from the gas system and not from a result of you causing it to burn. Now the only thing that you can get nice and hot is the barrel but I have noticed on mine ever since Arma-Coating it is the dramatic drop of the heat on the barrel from sustained shooting. Now back on topic for that nasty imitation wood rock it! Although if it were real wood you can have issues;

Those are some pretty cool video's. The reason that I ask, how many rounds the CZ 858 will do before it heats up too much, is because of the accuracy.

If you were to do say 40-50 rounds in a couple of minutes, would you still have the same accuracy if you were trying to hit a target out at 150 yards with precision? The guy in the video was kind of spraying and praying.

Try it and find out.

I've never noticed any difference in accuracy regardless of rifle temp. I have 18 magazines. YMMV.

Just run it, your not gonna #### it up with 5 round mags. Down in the states we put 400 rounds through one back to back and while it got hot, and melted the plastic handguard a bit, it was just fine.
