Holy crap! I have pretty good results with plain old steel bb's for geese, probably 1 for 4 shots fired, but I wait until they are under 40 yards.

Now ruffed grouse on the other hand.......

I don't really have a prob with steel. I pattern my gun and I have shot geese and ducks over 50 yds with it.


+1, depends on the choke you are using, i dont mind full choke for the smaller shot upto about 2 shot but anything bigger i put in the modified choke
