There are 20 carbines in a crate. Packing list shows each carbine serial number and "supplementaries": 20 oil cans, 10 gas port reamers and 20 cleaning kits or "Accessory Tubes"

If you find someone with 10,000 rnds of 7.62x39 ammo let us know...I doubt this is going to happen anytime soon.:(
 
lots and lotsa 7.62x39 at SIR in Winnipeg. 300Rds for $50. The stuff is hungarian FMJ, non corrosive dated 2003 and 2004. Cant beat it.

Probably MFS. Don't count on that stuff being non-corrosive, as it's re-primered surplus ammo(?) and there's probably a corrosive primer or ten in there somewhere. Learned that the hard way.
 
SKS crates are shipped in the following configuration:

All rifles facing the same direction, accessories at barrel end on a small tray that sits in the void made by the rifles taper.

Bottom row is 7 rifles, taking up the whole width of the crate.
Middle row is 6 rifles, taking up the middle portion of the crate, interlocking with the bottom row.
Top row is 7 rifles same configuration as the bottom.

Very compact and efficient space wise.
