How many stamps to use?

Does anyone know? I'm in Ottawa and need to send for my PAL.

Go to the Post Office, send it with tracking and proof of delivery. Might even get a signature on delivery.
Don't just dump it in a mailbox.

Using the post is like betting with really good odds, you still lose sometimes.

Applications have been known to go missing... been there, down that, won't do it again

It is a really, really good idea to be able to document that the package was received, when it was received, and by whom.
Also, keep a copy of everything that you sent.

oh crap I just mailed it using regular post. I hope they will receive it:S

I mailed it with regular mail and I had no problem getting my License in the mail a month later.

One stamp and toss it in the box. Got mine a month later.

Because in 2 months when they say they still haven't received it yet, you will know otherwise and be able to prove it.

Spend the $5-8 bucks and shave weeks off the process. Send it 2 day delivery with signature / proof of delivery.

Don't send it surface mail - it will add a long time to an already long and frustrating process.

Yes Registered mail for any important docs is in your best interest, especially when it is your PAL app.

I have never lost an item in the mail, and I'd imagine you're fine in this case, so I wouldn't sweat it. The CSSA recommends that PAL's get sent in for renewal nine months in advance. I send mine in six months before expiration, and despite my track record of zero losses in the mail, always pay extra to get a signature. It's worth the peace of mind for me as I don't want to be unlicensed for one second.

1 stamp, and did yo know that there is no monetary value printed on stamps anymore. Whatever you bought that stamp for ( .55c etc) is what you will pay even if it does go up.
