Typically each shipment is limited to 50 and so far there have been less than a handful of shipments my guess would be less than 200 in country

I don't own one, and you couldn't give me one. Cheap pos junk pile. My shooting buddy has one, owned it for ~6 months before he could use the thing. Someone at KelTec ran a drill through the firing pin hole because he felt it wasn't big enough and every primer got pierced or hole punched. Guess where the piece of primer went. Turned into a f**king run away.

My boss just bought a Sub2000. I've never seen plastic warped this bad.

IMO, KelTec needs another 10 years of R&D before they build another gun. :eek:

I didn't see a spot for;
No, I will never own one. EVER!!!! ........(check)

Rant over. :D

agreed ever since i held both the su16 and sub2000. ill admit ive never fired either but just that few seconds with them turned me right off.

poll needs more options

Well I have over 1000 rounds through mine so far without a problem. I do agree that they are probably a couple hundred dollars more than they should be but the fact that they take ar mags was enough to sell me. Why is it (not saying an oversized firing pin hole is acceptable) that people always blame the manufacturer for problems that more than half the time are caused by lack of maintenance or operator error in reasembly?

I had a chance to fire one yesterday, it had all the ARish furniture and nice optics. Didn't really think it was worth the money though. Just my opinion.

Mine has been working without hiccup or any issues.
I think it's quality made, and an awesome deal @ the american price.
Sadly, there seems to be a lot of QC issues with the primer punching canadian ones.

If ARs were non-res, or XCRs were cheaper, I would not have bought one.
But it works, so I can't complain.

Took my new to me unit out last night, 40 rounds at -10c, Liking it so far with a red dot. Scope to be installed tonight to see what I can do.

I'm definitely interested in Keltec products, the SU 16 among them. The AR15 mag compatibility along with the folding feature and non restricted status make it a real contender.

It's tough to discount negative reviews, there's always that lingering doubt - so when I'm able, I'd buy one from a reputable dealer, like Wolverine, who'd back me up if there was a problem - that said I agree cleaning, proper use, reliable ammo, are all essential before blaming Keltec for a glitch in performance.

Unfortunately only history will tell if this is truly a reliable system or not, which is true of all guns, 1911 anyone?
