How many times can anneal before use?

I am using SimpleGreem for a while, to wash my 3d printed parts, finishing with IPA with water baths after each step.
Earlier years I tried many other juice with less friendly results.
I just got a new fresh jug of SG from HD, I was shocked by latest prices. Worth to look around for better price, but the SG is definitely a good ordinary cleaner just for anything.
We used it to wash out Cooling systems in Diesel engine trucks 👍

Quenching brass doesn't harden it
Nope, but it doesn't do anything for it either, and it depends on the compounds utilized when smelting the brass for the cases.

I used to follow the old rule, when oven annealing, of filling the bottom inch of the pan with water, and standing the cases up on their bases to stop the heat from travelling to the base area.

The rule of thumb was to tilt the tray so the cases would submerge completely and supposedly even out the hard/soft region, for longer life.

I found out, from watching a commercial reloading process in Brazil, quenching, wasn't necessary when processing the military brass cases for use with the cartridges they were "reloading."

Just got back from a store, empty handed.
$75 for a 5 lb package of SS pins.... I have an older redding case tumbler, just look at the bowl size about 5 liters, I would probably need 3 packs. And that is a steep investment :cautious:

That's a vibratory tumbler? Steel pins won't work anyway......

Still waiting for the 535C=1000F Tempilaq.
In meantime I did the ultrasonic wash with SimpleGreen, drying the brass right now. The inside looks shiny now :)
So I am waiting patiently for my Tempilak order to arrive from "Prairie Bearing & Bolts", I know we had some really nasty weather in between the two points.
10+ days, and nothing arrived.
Yesterday I sent them a curtesy email if they may know anything about where abouts.
Received today an answer they backorder it from a "supplier". I just checked the payment went through to their account.
This is double disapointing, how some doing a business here in Canada. The most p****ng is that they didn't let me know I had to chase them.
