Howdee, Folks.

Brand new to this hobby, and forum which I am sure is a great resource of experience and opinions. Interested in history and collecting though may branch into hunting in the future. It's been a very enjoyable and interesting experience thus far. I'll be making my first purchases soon got my heart set on a Lee Enfield. So I'm torn between that and something more practical like a 10/22.

Welcome
I'd suggest a nice bolt 22 instead of a semi.
You will learn better fundamentals etc.
I have a 10/22 and tend to just pray and spray with it. Don't get me wrong. Thats fun and all but gets boring fast.
I have a few cz452/453s and the build quality to a 10/22 isn't comparable.
Good luck choosing!

Welcome to Nutz. This forum is whatever you choose to make of it! Lots of knowledge and experience here. Great intro btw. I second what Scotteboy has suggested about a quality bolt rimfire. Lots of great ones on the EE. Annie’s are always a great gun and been around a long time. Greetings from SEOntario.

This is an excellent point I had previously overlooked and undervalued. Thanks!
