How may mags is too many

A *good* magazine is one that works well with your pistol, feeds cartridges reliably & the follower engages the slide stop and allows it to lock back the slide when the mag is empty if it is meant to do so... ;)

I've never "broken" a pistol mag so far either but I've encountered more than a few that have not operated correctly. Usually they have been the 'cheapie' ones...

ah, the old "buy cheap and you buy twice."-problem then ;)

When you cannot move becuase you are weighed down with mags it's too many....
When you get into the car and realize that the back bumper is on the ground you've packed too many mags...
when you have more mags than you can swim with and there is a chance you could be swimming it's too many..

Thats a great idea to eb able to complete a Level 1 match without reloading :)

For most IPSC matches is that 16 (10 round) mags?

Too many? You have basement storage? Garage? Dry shed?
Seriously, I keep 12 minimum for each I use (9mm, .40, .45), or more if I get a decent price on new factory or quality after-market mags.
