Depends on condition for sure. All I know is I sold my 7400 3006 on the site for 550 shipped complete with a newer 200.00 scope and the gun was as new with only 16 shells ever fired out of it.
That is all she would bring.

So how is foxgirl allowed to bargain/dicker on this thread, and another similar move resulted in the thread being closed. Go to EE.

She's not "dickering" in this thread. I closed the other thread due to the fact that it turned into a for sale thread, I'll remove it.

This thread she's meerly looking for an estimate on value, lots of those type of threads in here and are easily allowed. If this turns into a "FS" thread it'll get the axe to.

Can only people that have VALUES post something please!, just to clarify this is NOT a selling thread, I am just looking for values when I decide to sell I will follow all rules and regulations of this site obviously I need to read the rules more closely as my last tread was closed. Please only post values not pettiness!!!!

From what I gather on the net, the PH's are running anywhere from $250 to $350 but with the condition you say yours is in (without a mark) I'd shoot for $400.

I think "rare" is kind of a strong term to use with it as I had no problem finding more of these to compare prices with.

Both guns are selling with scopes so giving an estimate of $150 new for the scopes I would say $550 for the 7400 and $450 for the P-H. At least in my area anyway. If the scopes are higher end models adjust asking prices higher.

Selling a rifle with an economy scope is sort of a loss leader. The inclusion of the scope doesn't really kick up the price of the rifle, but it may help it to sell quicker. A big dollar scope in expensive mounts is another matter though.

I agree with the previously suggested values and certainly don't consider a PH bolt gun to be particularly rare or valuable. But when encountered in good shape, they are reliable and typically produce decent hunting accuracy.
