Can yoiu supply the year and model portion of each shotgun's serial number? The serial should be under the action release lever on the receiver. The first five numbers will be the actual serial number (don't need that) by the next two letters will be the year of manufacture and the last three numbers will be the grade/model.

The chokes and barrel lengths would matter.
There's a used blued, Grade 7, Lightning 3", 20 ga with 28" barrels and 3 chokes at Epp's, they're asking $3899.00. Used, retail, price, of course.

Ther are about 10 on Gun broker with buy it now prices from $1,799.00 -$2,900.00 with no bids what so ever. Used market value in todays market the 12ga $2,400.00-$2,700.00 29ga $2600.00-$2,900.00

They both look in fantastic shape although the wood on the Lightning seems to outshine the Superlight just a bit.

I believe both the 1988 and 1991 would have Invector chokes. If you are planning to sell these, it may be worth getting some Diana or Diamond choke tubes to go along with them. Sort of mating the 'best with the best' so to speak.

I'd put a realistic value on these starting at 3000CAD plus. If you found the right buyer, a small premium could apply for the pair of them together.

I have been there but just to watch matches. I would like to sign up there but they don't have rifle and I need to be able to shoot both at a club I belong to

Considering the quality of these two shotguns, I would seriously consider paying a few bucks and taking them to Stillwater, Reliable or Italian for a professional appraisal. While you are there, ask about a consignment sale if you want to go that route.

If you can create a colour ad, post some copies on the bulletin boards at VGC and other local gun clubs. These aren't old 870 pumps. You need to find a targeted market that appreciates a premium firearm.

Online, you can use the CGN EE here or post on FirearmsCanada.com or even BuySell.com. The latter requires you contact them with firearm registration information to avoid illegal sales.

I'm also a member of the PCDHFC (Port Coquitlam & District Hunting & Fishing Club [what a mouthful!]).

There is a (up to) 200m handgun/rifle range and trap (2 houses) and skeet. Handgun and blackpowder in the other ranges. Trap/Skeep is only on the second and fourth Sunday of the month unfortunately. Mission has a 300m range I believe.

I did have a guy do a appraisal on condition the 20ga is 90-95% and the 12ga is 85%
I thought about doing consignment but I don't think I would like everyone pawing them up everyday of the week. I would only like people to look at them who have to money to buy them not just people lookn.
