How much cross compatibility is there between Charles Daly 12-ga and the major US models?

My email had a message from a prominent Ontario retailer that advertised pump shotguns for prices that look like wholesale not retail. These are Turkish-made and obviously based on existing designs. Are these cross compatible with common Rem 870 or Winchester pumps guns? Barrels in particular.

I have the Akkar Churchill, which is supposedly a direct 1:1 of the 870, but the barrels aren't interchangeable. I wanted to get a slug barrel for it but no dice. The construction of the chamber flange is different.

Unless the retailer can demonstrate 100% interchangeability of all the bits and bobs (rather than just the furniture) then I'd be skeptical.

I imported many Turkish pumps few years back. I can assure you that they are not based on 870 action. Winchester pumps at least during last decade were made in Turkey however they used different barrel design then general run Turkish pumps. As far as barrels in Turkish pumps they are all of similar design however fit between different brands may or may not be possible due to slight differences between the makers.

Not sure your location but if you are in BC please go see Del Selin in Vernon. Years ago when I was closing Turkish imports I left him box of Turkish barrels he may still have few kicking around. Take your action and try it they may be similar enough to fit

The retailer got back to me today. First round of inbox clearing after the weekend. (Always a good sign of customer service.) As I feared, the Turkish guns are not compatible. Oh well, I had to ask.
