How much do you love your SKS? A week ago I bought a Kermit the Frog PEZ dispenser with candy for $3.50 and sent it to my grandson with a note that told him that this is my favourite candy. But even so, this morning, a completely new revelation...

*** I would rather have a $200 SKS than 57, $3.50 Kermit the Frog PEZ dispensers *** :dancingbanana:

...so complete the following for yourself:

I would rather have a $200 SKS than.................

I mean, let's keep things in perspective guys...

I recently picked up a Russian SKS only due to the fact that my CZ is on prohib vacation, and I have a couple crates of 7.62 to burn through... I only wish I got one years ago. I LOVE SKS!!!!

I'd rather have my $200 SKS than 2.5 more P226 magazines... why are those so f-in expensive lately?

I would rather have my $150 (Christmas sale at Reliable Gun Vancouver) SKS than a bottle of $150 Macallan 15 year old fine oak scotch, and really love scotch. Heck, if someone asked me how much it would take for me to never get to fire an SKS ever again, I don't think I would give up firing an SKS for less than $20,000 or equivalent. The mechanical feel and feedback from my SKS is such a joy of mine. It is unlike any other gun I have. Whether it is punching paper at the range or mowing down 12" diameter trees with steel core ammo, it's my favourite by a long shot.

I would rather have a $200 SKS than a $200 SVT.cou:

Oooohhh... That's actually a tough call... I love my $200 SKS and $200 SVT, but I love them differently... If I had to choose 1 over the other, I would prolly go with the SKS for its simplicity and easy of maintenance. But I would sorely miss the power and range of the my SVT.

One well to do business man somewhere in former USSR gave his son a handgun for safe keeping and told him son hide this for me please. Son was hiding it for a while, but was not really fond of it. So he decided to trade it for a watch. Then after a while his dad comes in and says son wher is that piece I gave you for safe keeping, where is it? Sonny says well look dad, I traded it for a watch, its fashionable and its practical I like it better than that piece of metal you gave me????
Dad in really bad mood says, what gives????
If bandits come to kill you what are you going to do? tell them what time is it?

So I'd rather have an sks than thousands of watches.

Which SKS? I love all of mine equally, but for different reasons.

I guess I'd rather have another SKS than a $200 LE sporter, which can't be restored thanks to Bubba and is no more accurate than my Mosin or SVT at 100 yards, except it fires $1 a round ammo...

Glad I only paid $75 for the LE

I would rather have another $170 SKS than go back to Scotland!

PS-I'm an SKS addict, but I can take solace in knowing that I am not alone,my missus even encourages me to buy one any time I visit CT in Leduc.

My SKS and I have something in common, we both like strippers
