I'm just wondering what all of you are paying for cast bullets across Canada. Specifically wondering about 9mm and .40 cal. And if shipped how much it bumped up the cost. And how high would you go. Just curious.

Wholesale in Saskatoon has some bulk cast bullets they just got in. I think the 38 158 gr swc were about 76.00./1000

Last time I was at TNT in Regina they had the same for about 65.00/1000.

Plains ammunition supply in Gull Lake SK. (306)672-3656 $60/1000 9mm. I have no idea about the cost of shipping...... I would imagine @ 40lbs per 1000, it would be alot.

Plains ammunition is product I bought at TNT in Regina and they had quite a selection.

a couple of us went together and picked up 12000 357's and 45's for 55-60 per 1000 from Bruce a couple weeks ago. He will give a break on price for larger amounts and will let you mix to get to his magic discount number.

Well, if 9mm is going for $60/1000.....and we were buying 44 mag for $70/1000 less than 2 years ago, I'd guess no, the prices haven't come down. Actually, when have prices EVER come down in this hobby ????

I haven't been following cast prices but I do remember that the Bullet barn had to increase their prices last year due to the high lead prices and rising transport costs....just wondering if anyone has re-adjusted their price due to the huge plummet in lead and fuel prices this year?

I'm thinking now might be a good time to stock up on some lead bullets or even just lead itself...
