How much do you shoot?

Ditto. A couple of hundred a week for practice and another hundred during various competitions. This week will be 25-yard pistol silhouette and rapid-fire rimfire! I live 3 km from the range. Yay me!

I just came from Ruffed Grouse hunting, which of course turned to target shooting once I did my walk through the woods. So all in all, about 500 rounds. Dam I wish Savages had a 50 round mag!

Usually go to the range twice a week and shoot 200 rounds each visit through my Marlin model 60, very relaxing!

I'm wondering if I shoot my .22 more than most people. I shoot roughly 250 rounds a day so I go through a box of federal bulk 525 rds per box in 2 days. Now given I don't shoot every single day of my life but most days I do get out and shoot for a few hours. What about you all?

what do you shoot at to keep you that interested. Paper?

Wow!! Revival of a 2+ year old thread, nice :)
I shoot generally 250 per trip..
maybe 100 on paper, the rest at golfballs and old dishes :ar15:

in just rimfire 22lr and 22wmr maybe 300-500 a trip. some shotgun and centerfire rounds too. havent been out much as its hunting and fishing season. when i get into the swing i have done 3-4 days a week for a month or so. all out in the bush. i have a 5 gallon pale full of .22 brass to show for is and some room in my wallet too.

In the summer i shoot 100-200 rounds thrue my bolt 200-800 rounds with handguns/semi rifles 50-75 12 gauge + around 50 centerfire handgun and a little centerfire rifle per week
in the winter 500 rounds rimfire handgun 50 rimfire rifle 50 centerfire handgun per week
and thats just target pratice then theres all the rounds i use for pest control on the farm and hunting

Cripes. I am way behind. I go once a week and shoot 40-75 in a couple hours. all at SFC sporting or ISSF targets. I shoot with great people though so it is time well spent.

I quit buying 22 Rimfire ammo by the brick some time ago.
Much better to buy it by the case [5000]. Less hassels
if you shoot a fair bit.
Problem is, buying top grade target ammo by the case gets spendy.
However, a case of that lasts longer since it is not "plinking" ammo, lol.
