How Much $ For A Used SBE l Benelli

No case,I'm told the SBE l only came in a box, and he has it. lls came in a case.Has 5 chokes, wrench, oil, shims, and is Blk syn and in excellent cond.

Thanks for that. Just found out that he would take 1100$ plus split the shipping. The gun appears to have a slight mark on the receiver. He calls it a " gun safe kiss" and says it is not a scratch.

Ok, thanks. I did go down to our local gun shop this afternoon to price a new M2 Benelli, just to compare.I know it's only a 3",but I don't care that much. The price they gave me was $1535, plus tax, in a blk syn.the SBE was way out of my reach, like $1999 and tax. They also looked at my Browning Gold 3" and said they would take it on trade and I would have to pay $700 diff. plus tax, on the M2 Bennelli. I still think the SBE Benelli l, for 1100$ might be the better deal. Don't you?

$1100 for a used SBE I is higher than going rate and definitely not a deal. Sell your Browning Gold privately, you are probably leaving 200-300 on the table just for the convenience of trading it in at a gun store. Not worth it if you ask me. SBE's are not magic guns and if you do not plan on hunting with 3.5" shells get an M2, same gun operationally but only 3" shells. I own a bunch of Benellis, and I love them but they are woefully overpriced, especially for the synthetic versions. I only buy mine when the opportunity presents itself as a spectacular deal, which isn't very often. Many buyers pony up whatever amount just to have a Benelli, you will be let down.

Sell your Gold privately and shop around, good deals can be had, you just need to look for them. Check the EE as well,

Patrick

Nothing wrong, it's been a great gun, I'm just wanting to try a few others, while I still can. I hear alot about the Benelli, want to try one out for myself.

Benelli

Anywhere in that $1000.00 - $1200.00 is a fair price.

While they may be viewed as overpriced you get what you pay for as the Benelli's are a quality gun. I really don't need the 3.5" either but have found that I shoot the SBE's better than the M1. Ease of maintenance is a big plus.

Funds allowing I would likely keep the Browning and buy the SBE rather than take that hit on the trade and sell privatley if necessary.

Use my SBE as a " Do All " gun for hunting and shooting clays when I don't want to take the nicer ones out in the weather.
