How do you figure? Jeans pricing is only slightly higher than average & his stuff is above average. Order a mosin from most places & you get a mosin with limited selection if any. Order one from Jean & you can get a 1937 tula if thats what you want. You can also get an accurate appraisal of bore condition.

After looking for spare parts, I figured it was cheaper to buy another $300 rifle than a mag and a few parts. From what I have seen, spare parts nevert came with the imports.
