How much for used .40 and .223 brass?

My club recycles it's brass to offset its operating costs. I want to know how much people pay for once-fired .40 and .223 brass. Can you give me an idea of what the shipping sets you back?
I am looking at doing some fund raising for the club and evaluating the worthiness of selling brass to reloaders versus selling to metal recyclers. We typically have those 2 calibers the most, but if it is viable I may entertain the idea of sorting all the brass later on.

The best that I was ever able to procure "once fired" brass was about .03 for .40cal and about 0.08 for .223. The shipping cost is i think about $15 per thousand but you mileage may vary. If you sell for that price you will have no problem selling your brass in a resonable hurry.
