Guy I'm gonna sell a couple of winchester 94 that i own and dont want to give them away,so looking for some info on what I should ask for them. there both 26" barreled rifles that have never been messed with all original with good wood with the usual handleing marks that you find on a houndred year old gun the metal is in pretty good shape with guite a bit of blue on both of them and there is some petina as well one is a 32-40 and the other is a 38-55 i have brass and dies for the 32-40 as well that i could through in for the right price i guess, this stuff is hard to find i either have 100 or 150 pieces of brass.

Hard to tell without pics, description of bore, function, stock and metal condition etc.
I would check their vintage using the serial numbers.
The most important factor is whether they are completely original or not. Damages (not handling marks, etc) to the stock are also important. The condition of the bore such as rust, etc, will affect the price so will corrosion/rust on any of the metal.
So, if they are completely original with no damages to the stock and a bore with no rust and no sign of corrosion on the metal might get you as much as $700 and beyond. This price might go down as low as $400 and less if you have a combination of the defects listed above.
Keep in mind that for collectors, these 2 calibers might be of high interest. A 30-30 in the same condition would normally get you less.
Pictures would help but not necessarily as they don't always reveal a lot of the defects listed above.

I think duke1 is right... $700.00 would be a fair price for either gun, as long as thier all orig... Good selling... R.j.
