For me, not much as I don't particularly like shooting .22 rimfire. To me, recoil is part of the fun.

Let's see...in terms of factory ammo, $6 equals approximately:

200 rounds of .22LR
30 rounds of 9mm
25 rounds of 12 gauge
10 rounds of .223
3 rounds of .50AE
1 round of .338 Lapua
.75 round of .50BMG

Of course, your mileage may vary, but this is why I prefer to shoot 9mm.
