How much game do you eat?

Varies year to year dependant on if we decide to slaughter a beef.
During non-beef years close to 100% of our red meat comes from wild animals. Even with beef in the freezer we will still have game in over half our meals.

Four kids and their entourage here so we go through 6-12 deer a year usually a moose, a beef and a couple pork.

A beef and a couple pork meaning a cow and a couple pig?

I like to add that I don't hunt big game mainly because my wife don't really like eating venison.

I eat almost 100% game during the season, but the supply dwindle low around feb/march.

Unfortunately maybe 1%. It is just not here for us to harvest.
One deer tag a year if you are lucky to get one which I think 28% do and have never won a local moose tag and have been putting in the draw since 1978.
The family would eat 100% if we could get it. The girls have eaten NL moose and caribou I have taken and love it but those hunts are big bucks now for a non resident.
In the freezer right now just some game birds and a couple of geese.
Big dollar saving I imagine for you guys that can supply 100%. I buy a side of beef, a pig and two lamb a year so know what that costs plus what we get weekly at the grocery store.

Not enough.

I party hunt for deer and moose, and it can be a tough deer hunt. So its not uncommon for 1 deer to be split between 3 guys in a good year and as many as 5-6 in a bad year (like this past one).

Small game I cant guess, but its a fair bit. If you include fish, it goes up again.

3 deer a year for just the better half and myself. We use wild meat as 98% of our burger and 50% of our other red meat. We still buy some top end beef roasts and we love pork roast as well. Also buy lots of pork tenderloin for the BBQ when it's on sale.

Most of my red meat is wild & use a little farm beef. Make a basic recipe for fresh sausage & get some smoked made at a local butcher. Catch some fish in the winter for the freezer & summer time fish gets used fresh. Usually buy a little pork & chicken to get some ballance. I stop at 2 meals of meat with wild fowl so it's seasonal with a few birds in the freezer.

I eat wild game fairly often when I have it. Maybe 3-6 meals per week? I do take some breaks from it as I get fairly bored with food easily. It is however just me in the household so my elk should last me quite a while.

As far as %, its tough to tell because I do eat out occasionally.
