How much interest in a Canadian limited edition Ruger No.1?

Put me down for atlease 2 303 Brits with walnut ,Alexandry forend, and a NEGC peep rear sight factory installed, also would not mind a Ruger #1 in 35 Winchester, good luck and let me know if the 303 project becomes a reality, I will take 2 minimum, thanks Dale in T-Bay email dzywina@yahoo.ca:wave:

Perhaps you should set up a "stickied group buy thread" like they do on other forums when they do group buys..
ie. list the committed "I'll take one"..
That's what we do at the castboolit website when setting up a group buy for custom molds and it works out well...

I'll try to do it tonight (never did a poll before?) Headed to work right shortly on afternoon shift. I believe Clay is taking a survey as he gets requests by the guys who get a hold of him. I think the options are going to come down to an 'A' or an 'RSI' model to try and keep the price at an obtainable level for most guys. To much customizing may jack the price to where people loose interest.
P.S. I think my idea of Maple has pretty much been shot down. From what I've heard, the preference seems to be for walnut stocks & that would also help keep the cost down.

The No.1T SS laminate says he's lonely in the cabinet. So I'm in for one. Wouldn't won't to piss off the 375H+H.

I personally think that a full stock would be too much... You can't make everyone happy however i think that a normal stock would get the majority!

Full stocks make me gag a bit...:p
The 1-A is nicer.

Ok guys, Clay has said it nicely, but some of us just ain't reading the mail. Do any of you know how crappy the maple would have to be to get 250 production rifles done at a reasonable cost? This idea will not fly if we don't keep it reasonable. I am not interested in a $2000 production special and neither the majority of us nor would Lypsey's.
Maybe talk about grey laminate or something, at least they already do that and Camp Cook would have to buy one.

ALL maple is crappy looking. Go with the walnut.
