How much interest in a Canadian limited edition Ruger No.1?

Yeah, any new word? I'm really excited about this. Can't wait!

Nothing new just yet. However, I just spoke with my rep on Wednesday and they are speaking with Ruger again. Ruger just finished the run of 1-A's in 35 Wh. Hopefully, we can get this run in soon. I know it seems like it takes forever and some of the initial excitement may be waning, however, these take timew and we are definately still moving ahead with this.

Well I guess it is a done deal! Thanks to everyone who chimed in & said they'd take one or more. It's kinda a shame we couldn't get the serial numbers exclusive to this order, but I'll take it just the same. Thanks Clay for your help & hope you make a few bucks off of this order. Here's to St. Patty's Day & getting your order in. Although I still want the 1st two Clay!:D
625 posts & a dead thread?

What are the chamber specs going to be in .303?

In .280 Ross...now that would be interesting! The ORIGINAL magnum cartridge, although I guess it would have to be ".280 Rimmed" in this case.

A Cheesey Thanks

Hey, it's a shameless kick to the top! I want to thank Clay for jumping in as a dealer & getting the ball rolling. I hope you make a few bucks from this. And guys like Gatehouse & Steve who dropped this on there sites & the other guys who drop this idea on other forums. And to the guys who are actually buying them... This will be one hell of a rifle & your other rifles may collect dust because of this purchase. For those who don't get it, that's ok! But when you see a guy in the bush with a No.1 in .303 or any single shot for that matter, hopefully standing over a record book, maybe you'll appreciate the hunter & his experience...:D:)

Thats funny. Attributing a record book harvest to a rifle. A wonky Parker Hale or a Chinese SKS can do the job. Some of you folks are daffy.

Hey thanks for the insult... Who exactly attributed a particular rifle for harvesting a record book? My remark was made to the skill of a hunter, who takes one shot & it ends with one kill. Hence the remark "a No.1 in .303 or any single shot" & the words "hopefully standing over a record book".
You don't like the rifle... I get it... I think you either like to lure people in to fights on the internet or you lack comprehension of formed English sentences.:rolleyes:

Hey Dances with empties, I've never killed a record book anything, probably never will, but I will certainly send you pics and details of my first kill with the 303 Ruger !
This old guy just wants to say a huge Thanks to you and to Clay for all the effort involved in making this happen... :)

Dont be afraid to hold 2 or 3 rounds with your lips. I found it to be a quick way to reload a #1.

Never said I dont like the rifle. I think it would look very nice adorned with a Rainbow Flag.
