How Much is it worth?

A friend of mine at the range last night asked me how much once fired .223 brass goes for, mostly Hornady..I've got no clue...So how mcuh should he ask for it, he says he's got about 6lbs ( qty unknown)

$100 per 1000, I say that because i see a couple dealers selling mixed head stamped brass for $70 for 1000, once fired.

With all the same and it being Hornady it should bring in more then mixed.
