How much is that SKS from Ukraine actually worth you ask?

Adding C4 to an RDG wouldn't work for anything, C4 only blows up when it is hit by an electrical charge.

So is that what the "3 clicks" on the claymore mines you see in movies is doing? Creating an electrical charge like the old time dynamite igniters with the plunger handle?

That's wrong. C4 is considered a secondary explosive that requires a primary explosive to detonate. An electrical charge won't do anything unless it's hooked up to a blasting cap or detonator which'll blow up the C4

Was 199+tax.Sold it and having seller remorse I paid later 450$ to have it back.

I wish I had bookmarked it but I remember seeing a Canadian importer who might be a site sponsor (I can't remember who it was) who wrote out what it took to import arms and ammunition from places like the Ukraine and Russia. What I do remember is that it is a very long and expensive process and the profit margin on this allegedly cheap material isn't as great as some people in this thread apparently believe it is. Part of it is corruption but a great deal of it is also the cost of moving this stuff and following the local regulations before it even hits the dock.

So yeah, perhaps you can go to the salt mines and trade a pack of gum for an SKS-45 or M91/30 but enjoy the paperwork and cost of moving it off the facility afterwards.

Russia is not involved in Ukraine...Putin says so...gotta be local sabotage.

You do know that Ukraine had more than five major fires at ammo dumps since 2003 :) ? All those fires sent crap load of ammo flying all over the place and literally nullified any records of what was stored there at the time. Ukraine and ammo don't mix well together. Stuff catches fire if it's stored in Ukraine. Or maybe it's Putin himself set each one of those fires. On a serious note, Russia is involved in this conflict, no doubt about it but it still doesn't change the fact that Ukrainian officials steal left, right and center and than burn places down to cover the evidence. They couldn't blame Putin for it back in the day so it was all on soldiers or workers, now it's easy. Blame everything on Putin :)
