A while back I read that the Danish VAR replacement barrels are superior to the WW2 USGI era barrels as the metal is "Softer" (WW2) and wears out much faster. Also the VAR barrels are very accurate.
But that stands to reason - 1940's to 1960's technology in metallurgy.
Price her around the $550-$650 range!!! She'll sell!

P&S Guns is selling a beat up garand for $675 ($770 after tax), and you figure this one is worth less than that?No...no way.
It would seem that it is currently worth about $750. I had the rifle priced at $800 for one week, and had two lower offers - then I lowered the price to $700 and was (and still am) flooded with offers. Thanks for all the help everyone.
