how much is this gun worth?

Boer seun, do you have family in SA who have m95 mausers? If you are desperate enough, you could try and apply for an export permit. I found, in Bloemfontein, a Cavalry carbine, and a ZAR Martini henry carbine. They were 1200 and 800 rand respectively (divide by 6). My Oupas guns are still waiting for an export permit after a year (go figure, idiotic ANC workers). Sad thing is, by 2008, people there may only own ONE long gun(centrefire) ONE shotgun, and one handgun. I saw an article about some of the guns being trashed. I saw Martinis, Mausers, Enfields, Mauser 98s (probably captured during WW1 in Namibia) and tons of other old stuff. The point is thanks to idiotic government policies, many mausers will be destroyed. It makes me truly sad to think that such objects that basically represent the Boer soul is being so indiscriminately trashed :(
