I have an X-Bolt in .300 win mag, its LH wood and blued. Has a Zeiss conquest 3-10X50 on it. About 100 rounds through it. 1 year old. How much should I expect to get out of it?
I broke it in like the guys video said and I didn't like how it looked after lol. Just kidding. I'm just curious what the used price is for something like that because I've only bought new guns and I started wondering if it would be worth buying used instead. Do guns hold their value well? If this gun/scope were 10 years old and taken care of would it still be worth 25-35% less what I paid?
It kind of annoys me when a new member asks what something is worth and guys jump on the add 25% and put it on the EE joke.. I realize it's a running joke right now on CGN that some of the prices are way to high, but if the guy asking doesn't know that are we not just adding to the problem.. Just saying
With the internet it really does not matter what you think it is worth. Someone can look up the same gun at lebarons, wholesale sports or cabelas and price it out. A used gun is a used gun once you take it out of the box even if it in NIB. Expect to price it less (13% less) just to sell it than new at a minimum.
Meh. One thing you gripers forget is that EE stuff has to factor in the cost of ammo fired, time of the shooter and gas to and from the range. You can very quickly add in 25-50% to the cost of a gun. Someone has to pay for that.
