How much length does a breacher choke add

Hey guys, I'm curious if anyone can tell me how much a Remington breacher choke (or any third party breacher choke in Remington thread pattern) protrudes from the barrel when installed.

I'm sending my 12" 870 in for choke threading and cerakote, and I'm building a tube extension to send with it. I'd like for the end of the tube extension to be shy of the end of the barrel with breacher choke installed. Let me know what you come up with, thanks in advance!

I can’t help you on the breacher length but from what I’ve seen a +1 mag extension is flush with a 14” barrel, so if you’re using a +1 you should be able to guess your length from there.

Most of the screw-in breacher type chokes I've seen are too short to match up with a +1 extension.

However at least screw-in muzzle devices tend to be narrow enough in diameter to not interfere with a magazine extension the way some welded on breachers can.

Best bet if you want to make it flush is buy the choke you want and take your measurements and go from there. Dimensions of any external protruding chokes vary wildly from brand to brand so it's a crap shoot till you have the actual choke you are going to use in hand

I couldn't find my calipers last night, but the remington breacher choke on my 870 sticks out the end of the barrel just shy of 50mm according to my tape measure

Thanks for all the input guys, I ended up opting for something more practical than tactical, and got myself coyote choke, which adds less, but still allows me to replace the end cap with a custom extension bringing me up to 5 rounds of 2.75.

I'm currently putting together an 870 with an extended tactical breacher choke and a +3 mag extension.
The teeth of the choke protrude just enough past the extension to be effective.
I'll get pics up once I'm motivated to finish it.

This is my latest 870 with a Remington breacher choke and a +3 extension.
