Today I pulled four different CCI rounds and weighed the powder.

Quiet 0.5 grain
CCI MiniMags HP 1.6 "
CCI SV 1.1 "
CCI Blazer 1.5 "

Not much leeway which would explain being able to get consistency.
Some of the other rounds in the Hyper Velocity category would be interesting but I ain't got none!
Feel free to add if you have some hyper rounds to pull.

my contribution

Old CIL long 0.75gr
Fiocchi 22CRN std vel 1gr
SK std+ 1.05gr
Winchester Dynapoint 1.2gr
Winchester Super X 1300fps 1.7gr
CCI Stingers 2.7gr

One thing you are forgetting is the primer. I believe the consistency and application is one of the things that separates top end match 22 from bulk. I had always heard that powder and primer combined for about 4grs of powder equivalent. Probably equates with a LR Magnum primer.

Exactly. Primer plays a huge role in 22 lr. Having said that. .. in centerfires as well.
