How Much To Install Flash Suppressor?

Hi fellas.

While back I bought a garden variety chit house AR15 from Bushmaster. Nothing fancy, a stock service rifle right from the factory with no farkles or mods. She's good, simple and reliable - just like me!

I only have one very minor gripe - the gun came from the factory with no flash suppressor. How much would a smith charge to install one? This would be for cosmetics only, I suppose - I am a gun club duffer and no soldier of fortune or squaddie but I want a rifle that looks like one they might carry.

Can you fellas ballpark a price and maybe recommend a cool flash suppressor? Links and pics would be appreciated if you have the time.

Some were not threaded.
I assume the OP is asking about having the muzzle threaded.

Uhh yeah. It's very likely if it came from the factory without a flash hider that the barrel is not threaded.

It could have been made during the US "Assault Weapons Ban" when flash suppressors were especially evil, and ARs came with unthreaded barrels.

Anyway, Del Selin has threaded barrels for me, charging anywhere from $40 to $70, depending. He always wants the FE, so he can time the barrel threads properly.
