My neighbor has one I think in pretty good shape and he's toying with selling it...he's old and doesn't know how much it's worth. How much would one be? I'm not looking for a .44 mag or anything but if i could get a good deal (i.e cheap ;) ) i'd jump on it, but providing I tell him how much it's truely worth while I give him my offer.

I've never seen it, I was hoping there would be a very rough ballpark, but I would say 20-25 years old and black

I bought an odd ball S&W 29 with a 10 5/8" barrel for $400.

I bought a Ruger mark II .22, a S&W 586 357, and a Model 29-2. The Ruger and 586 were in good condition
with a little blueing rubbed off the muzzle end of the barrel (holster wear). The 29-2 came in a wood case,
cyclinder was not turned much, only had a couple of boxes of shell through it. I knew the original owner who died.
The person selling his guns kept the 44. He later had to sell all his guns so I got his three handguns for $600.

Now with pictures. Picture quality is not the greatest though.

Actually I though of it as buying two guns and getting the 44 Magnum for free. This kind of deal only comes up every couple of years for me.

Previously a S&W model 10, a model 14, and a model 19 - 2 1/2". About 1200 rounds of reloads, scale, Star reloading press, a couple of sacks of 38 brass, holsters, bunch of other stuff, all for $400.

Then a few years before that a PPC S&W 586, an IPSC marked S&W 745, a S&W model 14, a Star (I think) 1911 pattern in 38 Super, a S&W model 66, Lee progressive press, scale, holsters, lots of brass, and thrown in a 36 calibre black powder cap and ball revolver, all for $900.

The two above was the asking price. No way was I going to start to dicker.
